What a night! Memorable moments were debuting my beautiful, new Ovation guitar and the wonderful reception when I played the songs "Retired" and "I Feel Good." Even more spectacular was the response and reaction to my song "Hugs." The majority of the people in the room, without being asked, began moving from table to table greeting one another and giving hugs. The night was a resounding success with a spontaneous encore.

The performance hall as filled with missed but never forgotten Florida friends. Thank for the beautiful applause and fans who purchased my albums.

Heartfelt thanks to country music legend and star Glory Ann Prophet for her gracious introduction and for joining me on stage for our duets and for entertaining the crowd with her song selections during my planned wardrobe change.

Just in time for the 2026 January, February and March Florida tour, I’m very pleased to announce the debut of my latest music CD album of original songs titled “Words & Music By". The album is also available on flash drive. Like all my original albums, it was entirely produced and recorded by yours truly, along with all instrumentation and vocals. I believe anyone familiar with the songs on my previous albums will be equally pleased with the results and the songs presented in this collection. You might just find yourself a little surprised when you listen to number 3. It’s the only covered song on the album. Now number 4 and number 7 might make you smile and perhaps even laugh a bit! Hopefully, you’ll enjoy them all. I should add that all my music CDs are available for purchase on Ebay including the latest newly released "Words & Music By" CD/Album. You should be able to find them by searching Ebay for Gary David Reece or CD Titles as follows: “For The Sake of The Songs,” “Safe Harbor,” “The Open Book,” “Common Ground,” and “Play On!” At my age, It's about the music, not the money. If more than one album is purchased, I'm pleased to refund half of the total shipping costs after the purchase.

The amazing singer/songwriters of 60’s and 70’s have already inspired countless musicians and will continue to do so for generations to come. My deep appreciation and admiration for the music of Jim Croce, John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Harry Chapin, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Gene Clarke and so many others, greatly influenced my own songwriting efforts and pursuits. I’m more than excited and pleased to announce my future performances will feature many of their most popular songs. Their nostalgic music is among the most requested in my repertoire, so I plan to offer special programs that can be tailored to pay tribute to one or more of these exceptional artists.

I'm pleased to announce plans for my 2026 tour in Florida in the months of January, February and March. This will be my fifth year back in the Sunshine State. As a former Florida resident, I've developed a great following and soon will be reconnecting with my friends and fans there. In January I performed at a non-public venue before a capacity crowd in Lake County, Florida. Now it's off to the southwest coast in February and March where I'll be performing 16 shows at Fleamasters Grand Pavilion Stage in Fort Myers every Friday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Performance locations and dates are found on the schedule of this website. I have a number of dates still available and I'm always looking for additional performance venues. Call me at 937-681-3256
Of all the places where I've lived, Germantown, Ohio, is where my family set down roots. It's where I attended high school, met my best friend, played in my first garage band, performed on stage with my brother at student dances, got my first job after graduation, and more. For two years in a row, I’ve been featured and headlined at the city's Historical Society's Founder's Day event on The Veteran’s Park Gazebo. Most recently, I've been invited by the Germantown City Council to be the featured entertainer at a special gala event scheduled for June 12, 2026. This is a great honor and one that will add to the wonderful experiences I have enjoyed in the community I call my hometown.
